The 2009 Cellar Reserve Pursuit of Hoppiness From Grand Teton Brewing Company in Victor, Idaho pours out a burnt orange in color (the tag on the neck says Lovibond color) with some cloud, sediment (unfiltered) and a large, amber hued, tan head that sticks around until becoming a film on the surface of this nectar. The Morke Pumpernickel Porter brewed and bottled by Beer Here in Nogne O Grimstad, Norway pours out an opaque, slightly viscous, jet black in color with a tightly knit, dark tan head that has no intentions of going much of anywhere. On the nose you smell heavily roasted grains, bittersweet chocolate laced with coffee beans, faint licorice and spice. More
